STAGE 1 – THE CITY OF HIGHLAND CIRCUIT RACE – WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6
Men: 58.1 Miles, 20 laps of a 2.8-mile circuit
Women: 41.3 Miles, 14 laps of a 2.8-mile circuit
COURSE EVENT / DESCRIPTION
The race consists of laps around a 2.8-mile circuit including wide boulevards and scenic residential streets. A neutral Rolling Enclosure will control the race until reaching the Lap/Finish Line on Baseline Avenue. After crossing the Lap/Finish Line on Baseline Avenue, the course turns right on Church Street descending a wide boulevard to a right on Jack Rabbit Lane where it begins a twisting path through residential neighborhoods before returning to Baseline Avenue. The final portion of Baseline is a short, but steep climb back to the Lap/Finish Line.
SPECIFIC COURSE INSTRUCTIONS
Start: A neutral Rolling Enclosure will control the race until reaching the Lap/Finish Line on Baseline Avenue.
There will be an Awards Ceremony at the Finish Line for the first three finishers in this Stage, along with awards for Individual G.C., Climber and best Amateur (immediately following the conclusion of the Stage).
San Manuel Village, Highland Avenue West of the 330 freeway at Boulder Avenue.
Women at 8:45 am, Men at 11:00 am.

On the Baseline hill before the Lap/Finish line. Watch the racers grind the climb!
The Lap/Finish Line on Baseline before the turn onto Church Street. The competitors will gain speed before the turn down Church!
The turn from Church Street onto Jack Rabbit Lane across from Arroyo Verde Elementary School. Watch the riders corner fast as the schoolkids shout!
The Feed Zone on Webster Street at Immanuel Baptist Church before the turn onto Baseline. Feeding will start on 14 laps to go and will end on 4 laps to go. See the riders take on food and water without stopping.
