Legends’ Fondo Four Challenging Routes for 2026 Presented by Hospitality Dental and Orthodontics

Redlands, California (March 6, 2026) —For four decades, the Redlands Bicycle Classic has embodied a single Mantra: “Where Legends Are Born.” The legacy of this event is written on the demanding circuits of Sunset Loop, where countless riders have been shaped by relentless laps. Olympic Champions, National Champions, the 7-Eleven team, US Postal Team and others made this course a classic early. The climb to Oak Glen has served as proving ground, forging competitors through its tough, unyielding ascent. Walnut’s steep challenges continually test riders, pushing them to deliver powerful attacks and navigate through a decisive gravel section toward the finish line. These very roads have witnessed the rise of future professionals who honed their craft here, before advancing to compete in elite races across Europe. The Redlands Bicycle Classic is not just a race—it is a tradition that defines cycling greatness.

Now it’s your turn. Push yourself to the limit on our 3 Fondo Routes of 40, 52 or 67. Start with a lap on the thrilling 8-turn figure-8 crit circuit, then off to other iconic spots. Take on the legendary Sunset climb, the only climb that has been a part of every Classic. This is the backbone of every local training program and where current US National Champion Quinn Simmons became Legendary. Then comes Walnut, the climb is part of the hardest short circuit we ever designed. Cap the climb and attack the only gravel section ever featured. Feel what the pros felt. Then you pick your poison. Head for home or add another 1000 feet to the top of Yucaipa, and if you have Legendary legs, from there to Oak Glen, for a 5780 feet day and the knowledge you conquered the climb where many Legends like Chris Horner and Sepp Kuss were confirmed.  Participants conclude their journey with an unforgettable rolling return route to the downtown finish, where you can grab food and drink at the Vendor Village and enjoy a front row seat to watch elite professionals competing on the course that marked the start of your adventure.

Or, if you’d rather soak it in, roll out on a scenic 15-mile Taste of Redlands ride at your own pace. Travel through the University of Redlands, past the Mormon Temple, several Victorian mansions and iconic homes that make Redlands unforgettable — beautiful, fun, and just challenging enough to leave you smiling.

Are you ready to feel Legendary?

See you Saturday, April 11 @ 8 am on the Redlands Bicycle Classic start line.
